Some of my most vivid childhood memories are of taking photographs of my family and the world around me. I am a graphic designer, and have always enjoyed the outdoors. In photography I can combine my love of the outdoors with searching for images with my camera.
So what do I shoot?
I photograph what appeals to me. It’s as simple as that.
Sometimes it’s the big picture - a beautiful landscape; but it might be the details in the sand right at my feet. It may be a scene from nature – or an old vehicle abandoned in a field. There are times when I am seeking out what to photograph, and others where it seems that opportunities grab me. The important thing to me is capturing an image in the most powerful way possible.
